The skin of the labia minora sags with age and due to childbirth, and the labia minora become longer. In some women, this condition is genetically determined and occurs at a young age. Enlarged labia minora cause hygiene problems, problems with sexual intercourse, problems with sports and many times also have an impact on the psyche.

Labiaplasty (labioplasty) is a plastic surgery procedure that corrects the size and shape of the enlarged labia minora by removing excess tissue in this area. This surgery is performed after the age of 18. The effect of the surgery is permanent, and in the long term there is no reduced sensitivity during sexual intercourse.
